Marlborough's thriving community of artists
Would you believe that peppered throughout Marlborough — and in the villages around the town — there are more than 70 gainfully employed, professional artists? Providing you give them a call beforehand, each and everyone of these talented people, would be delighted to make you a coffee and show you their stuff. You'll see two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces, created in a wide range of media.
Open Studios 2020 is an annual opportunity to meet amateur and professional artists in the beautiful North Wessex Chalk Downs (AONB) and visit their studios, workshops or pop-up galleries over the first four full weekends in July. There is no charge, just drop in when the artist is open. Our artists' studios will be open for you to visit in 2020 on the following dates: weekends of 4th/5th, 11th/12th, 18th/19th and 25th/26th July 2020. We look forward to seeing you then.
(There isn't a Tourist Information Centre in Marlborough, but you should be able to find all you need to know about the town on this website.)
